Zeke Lau completed his senior year at Kamehameha School last June. This would be the first of two graduations for Zeke in that month. Days after finishing high school, Zeke won his final NSSA National Title and has since been turned loose on the surfing world as a full time professional. It’s an exciting time for Zeke and he has wasted no time in making his intentions known. After placing equal third at Jeffrey’s Bay earlier this month, he headed to Japan’s biggest event where he took the title last weekend.
“This was such a great event and I’d like to thank Billabong and everyone in Japan for putting on the event,” Lau said. “I went to Japan once when I was little, but this is the first time I’ve been back and it was so nice.”
The two places couldn’t be more different but this man can make it happen wherever he goes. Pumping J Bay? Tiny Japan? No problem for Zeke.
