Camp Kaz updates

Sorry for not updating for a while. We had great time at Surfing America at Lowers!

There were some questionable interference calls but over all, it was a fun great event!

We finally got to sleep in on Saturday and we took it easy all day.

Moniz family stopped by to give us some food!!

It’s been amazing how hawaii families have been helping us out. Moniz family gave us boxes of food, Fores family hooked us up with parking pass and tons of food at lowers, Kinimaka family checking up on us and keeping Mahina from going nuts hanging out with only boys.

Thank you all!!

We had a session at 9th street (Taco Bells) in the afternoon. The waves were so bad, we ended up running heats to motivate kids. Winner gets $1 each from others.

First heat winner was Kaito and 2nd heat winner was Kai! Good job kids for paddling out surfing on really really crappy waves. Haha

Today, we drove all over! Taichi was supposed to do the Quiksilver KOTG but he ended up not getting in.

We dropped Kaito and Taichi off at Lowers and Mahina, Cole, Kai and I went to Oceanside and Carlsbad.

Stopped by Mahina’s sponsor Creatures office. They hooked her up!

We had some time after so went to Oceanside Jetty for a quick session.

Super fun session!

After that we stopped by Ransom Wax and met up with Maluhia, Mainei, Tia, and Tati.

They got some sick goodies. They even hooked us up with backpack with our names on them.

After that, we stopped by for Cole to meet up with a shaper to talk about boards.

We picked up Kaito and Taichi and off to Surfer/Surfing mags!

Mahina and Kaito got interviewed for NSSA Nationals.

Now we are at home and cooking dinner.

Feels like I stay in the kitchen whenever we are at home.
2 rice cookers and a huge pot going. Scary thing is, sometimes all the food I cook is not even enough and I end up cooking for 2nd time.

NSSA nationals starts tomorrow!
