Town got waves BUT pretty much every spot is crowded with tons of people.  I got together with Kylen Yamakwa, Josh Moniz, Gen Asano, and Kaito Kino to find an empty spot.  We found it!!  Not even a secret spot, you can see it from everywhere but no one was out today.  We got to surf for few hours with just us out there. We had the first south swell of the season!  The swell is still here but this is from the first day of the swell.  I got together with Kaito Kino, Kylen Yamakawa, and Gen Asano to take advantage of this swell.  We wanted to avoid crowded Bowls so we picked this spot with only handful of people out.  We started super early in the morning and another session in the afternoon.  See how the waves were, enjoy the video!

I have an exciting announcement, I’ve worked out a deal with Arron Luther of Island Athlete!
You might’ve heard of him before since he sponsors Kaito Kino.   Kiato has been working with Aaron for a while now and I can see the changes in Kaito’s body and surfing.  Aaron put together customized training sessions for Kaito while he’s traveling with limited space in mind.  Kaito was able to train in his room while he’s away even when it was raining out.

If you know me, you know I’m really picky when it comes to strength/core coaches.  I really hate some certifications is just one weekend course, just watch some videos and that’s it.  no physical tests, training, paper exam, etc.

Aaron of Island Athlete is not for regular “I want to workout” people, he’s a strength and core COACH for athletes!  He will coach you according to your need as athletes.

8x month (2x week) : Normal $150 – Novus Swell $135

12x month (3x week) : Normal $175 – Novus Swell $150

16x month (4x week) : Normal $225 – Novus Swell $200

HSA (Hawaii Surfing Association held it’s State Championships at Ala Moana Bowls this past week.  Surfers surfed all season tried to qualified for this event.  Waves were small and challenging with some heats only had few waves but kids were out there surfing their best.

The North Shore is a proving ground for every surfer and so many of our girls have been there countless times.
